MASKS Virtual (2021)
In three virtual house concerts, our hosts will present arias and pieces for piano solo highlighting our all-too-human propensity to mask our true feelings and intentions, even our personality, sometimes playfully, sometimes passionately.
Our house concerts feature captivating soloists Daveda Browne, Savannah Greene, Jennifer Root, John David Miles, Ladd Boris as well as Paul Conrad at the piano.
We hope you'll love the arias and piano pieces by Bizet, Chopin, Dvořák, Glass, Händel, Khachaturian, Moniuszko, Mozart, Saint-Saëns, Schumann, and Verdi and relish the various ways in which the characters play with masking and masquerading.
