HUB CITY OPERA AND DANCE AWARDED $5000 TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE GRANT

​​Hub City Opera and Dance is pleased to announce it has been awarded a $5000 technical assistance grant from the Arts Institute of Middlesex County.  Technical Assistance funding is available to Arts, History, and Folklife nonprofit organizations located in Middlesex County that wish to strengthen their management skills, improve board functions, undertake long-range planning with a consultant, develop professional educational materials, or increase their virtual capacity and online presence. 

Funding from this grant is being used to create effective  back-end operations and revamp our website to better communicate our mission and serve the needs of our supporters and audience.  We continue to work hard behind the scenes to provide quality productions and support emerging artists, bringing you exciting and entertaining opera and dance.  Opera and dance is a magical medium that evolves constantly and we are proud to bring this to our patrons.

HUB CITY OPERA AND DANCE AWARDED $2000 BY THE CHURCH AND DWIGHT EMPLOYEE GIVING FUND

Hub City Opera and Dance has been awarded $2000 by the Church and Dwight Employee Giving Fund, which said in its award letter: "This decision is a credit to the work your organization continues to do in our community and the expected impact you will achieve with this additional funding.""

Hub City and Dance is proud to accept this award and its acknowledgement of the work we do.  We work tirelessly to ensure new, innovative works or reinvented traditional works are seen by our audiences that inspire and entertain.  These perspectives gives us a fresh look at the world and the medium of opera and dance.  Additionally, the emerging professionals we pay and the education that we bring to young people and civic organizations continues to create thriving arts community in Central NJ.

Participation in Community Events.

Hub CIty Opera and Dance was proud to be a part of the 2024 East Brunswick Harvest Fest

Strollers were treated to our opera pumpkins, which represented characters from operas like the witches of Macbeth and the Queen of the Night from the Magic Flute.  

Cupcakes were also available to celebrate our upcoming production of Bon Appetit! which features Julia Child making a chocolate cake!

It was wonderful to connect and meet with
many members of the community.
